[Untitled] Paper Game

I used this guide to start production on my own version. The sitckman I’ve created is named Omega.
Here’s a breakdown of his stats:

  • name- omega
  • hp-110
  • p (power)-110
  • weapon- long sword (doesn’t technically do anything, just for show really :P i’m going to give myself a Katana at level 10. :3)
  • techniques (power moves)- Telekinesis Push Lvl 1 and Shadow Clone Jutsu Lvl 1

I currently just have my character on an adventure on leveling up to 10. I think that’s a decent to level before I try to do something like start a Campaign or mission or something. A potential idea that I want to do is a cheesy “level 1 noob” kinda mission and that is to kill a Goblin Village. I hate them with a passion. I’m, of course, going to have to make the Goblins Level 10. I’ll probably fight like 10 regular Goblin Warriors, fight 5 Goblin Shamans, 3 Goblin High Priests and the Goblin King for the boss. :) I’ll be like Level 19 when I’m done wiping them off the face of the planet. >:3

Mechanics

Melee will always do 10 damage, unless you have an item or activated a Power move that will increase your inflicting damage. It’s recommended that you have some damage increasing Power moves, because an opponent can take you down in two hits if they have Level 3 Power moves. When you reach Level 20 all opponents will have Level 2 Power Moves and at Level 40 opponents will have Level 3 power moves.

Power moves do damage are determined by level. Level 1 does 20 damage. Level 2 does 20 damage. Level 4 does 60 damage.  With Shadow Clone Jutsu Lvl 1 also you to only make 1 clone of yourself. It will only disappear (die) if it is killed by an opponent. By weary though, while the Power move is good some people have made moves that attack multiple enemies at once.

You gain 10 HP and 10 P after you gain a level. I recommend giving yourself Power moves that can give you health back. Like Healing Factor Lvl 1 or Life Drain lvl 1. Both will basically cost the same P, but Healing Factor will give you back 20 HP and Life Drain will give you back 20 HP and drain your opponent of 20 HP.

Battle process is done turn based. To decide if you or your opponent attacks first you roll a 6 sided dice. If you get a 4, 5 or 6 then you go first. If you roll a 1, 2 or 3 then your opponent goes first.

Damage calculation is determined by single dice roll. If you roll a 2, 3 or 4 you do 10 damage. If you roll a 5 you hit a critical which is 20 damage. If you roll a 1 or 6 you miss. To make things far (especially when battling a friend call out what type of attack you want to do; Melee or Power and then roll the dice. ‘Cause if want to do a Power move and miss then you will still lose P. And that’s fair, truly. :)
